Fun fact, i’m very good at giving others advice but when it comes to actually taking care of myself … well that’s a whole other story. It really is so important to be caring for yourself on a daily basis no matter what. How can you possibly expect to be strong in a relationship, or successful in your business or anything else in your life if you don’t first take care of YOU?!

I don’t know about you, but I always find that when i’m taking care of myself physically I always feel so much more confident and ready for whatever life throws at me. That’s the goal today babes, to prepare you for all the ugliness and challenges life may throw your way. Say it with me now, I am beautiful. I am a freaking goddess. I am capable of ANYTHING.

Can we get real for a minute here? I’ve been on the road to a happier, healthier life for quite some time now and while I do have a long way to go still I believe that i’ve found some amazing ways to live my best life on a day to day basis and I thought maybe you’d like to follow along? Here’s my daily self-care checklist that’s had me absolutely killin’ it lately!


▢ Get enough sleep

This one really is so important. I know it’s not always easy to achieve, especially when you have a million different things pulling you in a million different ways but it’s always important to try and get 8 hours of sleep as often as you can. 

▢ Eat Breakfast

No skipping meals people! I always find when I have a healthy breakfast I feel super energized and ready to take on the day!

▢ Mini AM pamper sesh

Having a morning skincare routine every day really helps me feel refreshed and awake! Taking care of your skin is so so important and a clear, beautiful complexion does wonders for confidence!

▢ Drink lots of water

Drinking water instead of soda or other sugary drinks throughout the day is soooo much better for your body! I always suggest getting a super cute water bottle or tumbler to carry around with you all day to help you feel like the trendy, water lovin’ badass that you are. 

▢ Vitamins

Don’t underestimate the importance of vitamins!! Let’s keep our bodies healthy and happy not only with the obvious ones like vitamin C to keep stuffy noses away and vitamin B12 to keep energized, but also with hair skin and nails vitamins! (Bonus points if you find them in delicious gummies like these bad boys) 

▢ 1 Full workout

I’ll be the first to admit, this is not always easy and I often skip it (lol) but once I actually get myself to the gym, it’s always the best part of my day. I come out feeling SO amazing and energized and a little bit like wonder woman if i’m honest. 

▢ Pet all the puppies … always

I think it’s a pretty important life rule to never let a puppy go unloved … lol! I don’t have my own little fluff ball to play with at home but I am lucky enough to live in a building where apparently everyone else does. There’s a reason puppy therapy exists, playing with dogs really does raise your spirits and make you feel all warm and fuzzy inside!

▢ Connect with a friend

Reach out to a loved one, even if you don’t have the time to actually meet up face to face it’s always good to connect with the people we care about. 

▢ Breathe

Last, but certainly not least don’t forget to breathe. Try to take little moments out of your day to just destress and clear your mind. Take a couple minutes in the morning to meditate, or maybe go for a little walk on your lunch break. My personal fav is a bubble bath at the end of the day. 

One more time just in case you forgot, you are beautiful. You are a freaking goddess. You are capable of anything.
