Can someone please explain to me how it’s already September?! This is usually the time of year where I’m getting ready to jump into my warm fuzzies and pull out allllll the fall deco, and while the autumnal excitement is still there, I have to admit there’s something a bit different in the air this year. 2020 has been a wild ride to say the *absolute* least; does anyone else feel like you’re in some weird prank show and there’s going to be a “gotcha!” moment anytime now? Seriously, I’ve been waiting for Ashton Kutcher to jump out for a solid three months now (lols). All joking aside, this year has definitely been one for the books and not in a good way. I know a lot of you are probably experiencing some serious anxiety and a whirlwind of other emotions due to what’s been going on in the world lately, and if there’s anything I’d want to send you into this new season knowing it’s this:
**You Are Not Alone**
It’s easy to feel isolated while navigating such uncharted territory, but just know that all the things you’re feeling right now are so completely normal and there’s about a hundred others out there feeling exactly the same way! Something I’ve adopted into my day to day routine is setting aside an hour out of my busy schedule for some me time. It’s actually insane how something so simple can make such a huge impact on your mental health and dare I say it – sanity. So babe, light that pumpkin scented candle and get lost in a book for an hour! Throw on your trainers and find a trail to explore or even just enjoy an episode of your favourite show … whatever suits your fancy just make sure it’s something you love to do.
I know that I’ll be trying to enjoy this beautiful season to the best of my ability and bringing as much positivity and joy as possible over here on FTS so join me for aaaalll the cozy, pumpkin spicey, confidence boosting, unwinding content.
Sending nothing but love,
